About LocalNotaryFinder
Free notary directory — United States
What We Do
LocalNotaryFinder is a free, comprehensive directory of notary publics across all 50 U.S. states. Our goal is simple: when you need a notary, you should be able to find one quickly, with the address, phone number, hours, and rating you need to make a decision — without having to call around or wade through irrelevant results.
We cover general notary publics as well as specialists: mobile notaries who travel to you, loan signing agents for real estate closings, apostille services for international document authentication, and 24-hour notaries for urgent needs.
How Our Listings Work
Our notary listings are sourced from publicly available business data and verified against Google Maps and other business directories. Each listing includes the information a notary has chosen to make publicly available: their business name, address, phone number, website, hours, and customer ratings.
We do not manufacture, invent, or editorially curate listings. The notaries you see are real businesses operating in your area. We aggregate and present that public information in a single, easy-to-use directory organized by state and city.
Phone numbers are protected from automated scraping — click "Show number" on any listing to see the full phone number. This helps protect notaries from spam calls and automated solicitation.
Who We Serve
LocalNotaryFinder is built for anyone who needs a notary: homeowners refinancing a mortgage, individuals drafting a power of attorney, small business owners executing contracts, or anyone who needs a document witnessed and sealed quickly. We also serve real estate professionals, attorneys, and lenders who need to find a qualified signing agent in a specific city.
Coverage
We currently cover notaries across all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, with listings in major cities and growing coverage in smaller communities. We also maintain a directory of Canadian notaries across several provinces.
Our listings are updated regularly as we add new cities and refresh existing data. If you notice outdated information for a specific notary, the most current details are always available on the notary's own website or Google listing.
Disclaimer
LocalNotaryFinder is an independent directory and is not affiliated with any notary association, state government body, or individual notary. We do not endorse or recommend any specific notary public. Listing in our directory does not constitute a professional credential or endorsement. Always verify a notary's active commission status with your state's Secretary of State office before having documents notarized for legal proceedings.
